Eden Hazard: Summer Transfer Possible, But Not in January and not to PSG!

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has ruled out a move to PSG but admits his contract situation at Chelsea could result in him leaving in the summer.

The Belgium international’s deal at Chelsea expires at the end of next season, and some of Europe’s biggest clubs have reportedly shown interest in prising him away from Stamford Bridge.

Hazard, who joined Chelsea from Lille in 2012, admitted he has previously discussed a move to PSG but says he does not see himself playing at the Parc des Princes.

In a recent Interview with Canal Plus (French Television Channel), He revealed that  “there has been contact in the past with PSG but I haven’t been tempted”.
“If I have to go back to France one day, it would be to Lille. But today, there is no chance that I’ll come back to the French league.” – Eden Hazard
However, while Hazard does not see himself moving to PSG, he has once again suggested this season could be his last at Chelsea.
The 27-year-old can currently leave the club for free at the end of the 2019/20 season, which means the Blues may be forced to sell him before then if he chooses not to sign a new deal.
Hazard also told Canal Plus that “Yes, it’s true that Madrid is my dream club. I’m not leaving in January but if I don’t extend then it’s possible that I leave next summer.”

“I can’t see myself leaving in January. I wouldn’t do that to the club, to the fans.

“Next summer it’s a possibility, but it’s also possible that I spend the rest of my career at Chelsea.” – Eden Hazard

This is concerning for Chelsea, as once again, Hazard keeps flirting at a move away from Stamford Bridge! This interview almost arguably seemed like a come and get me to call to Real Madrid, and with Real Madrid’s current shambolic situation, Eden Hazard may be the person they need to stop the rot and could be the guy who gets Los Blancos back on the right track.

But can you blame him if he leaves Chelsea? I mean he is in his seventh season at the London Club, so he has been loyal to Chelsea for a long while. And he has also revealed that if he was to leave then he would leave the club on good terms, unlike his former Chelsea teammate Thibaut Courtois.

But should the club and Chelsea fans panic if he leaves? Yes to a certain extent, but the club have been looking at long-term replacements for the Belgian, including Christian Pulisic and Chelsea fan Leon Bailey, so it wouldn’t be completely disastrous if he does decide to leave in the Summer. However, reports have come out that the Blues will do everything in their power to convince the Belgian to sign a new contract. They even include giving Hazard the captaincy to convince him to stay!

Do you think he will leave Chelsea in the Summer? Personally, I think he will…
