Mousa Dembele heading to China
According to SkySports and BBC Sports, Mousa Dembele six and half year career at Spurs is coming to an end. The 31-year-old midfielder is about to join Chinese Super League club Guangzhou R&F. The Belgian was heavily linked with a move to China since the summer. Dembele is on his way to Hong Kong to undergo a medical. Based on the lack of transfer activity in recent times, it is highly unlikely that Spurs would look to the transfer market to find a replacement. However, the club is linked with Tanguy Ndombele, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and Donny van de Beek.
Valencia set to leave this summer
Long-standing United servant Antonio Valencia is set to make a move to Serie A club Inter Milan. According to the Manchester Evening News, United is not interested triggering a 12-month extension in his current contract. Since falling out with Jose Mourinho, the Ecuadorian has seen his playing time drastically reduced this season. So far this season, the 33-year-old made 8 appearances this season. Similarly, since Solskjaer appointment, Valencia only made one appearance.
Fellaini heading to Milan?
Since the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Fellaini has seen his playing time reduced. The 31-year-old does not seem to be apart Solskjaer plans only starting one game. Under Mourinho, the Belgian was very important to his tactics which many fans did not like from the beginning. However, AC Milan is seriously interested in making the midfielder apart of their plans this time. In fact, the Italian club showed interested this summer before he signed a 2 year deal with United. Italian club face competition from some Chinese and Turkish clubs.
David Luiz leaving London?
It is becoming more likely that the Brazilian could leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season. The 31-year-old defender rejected the last two contract offers so far. Reports suggest that the defender wants more than a one-year contract. However, Luiz could continue to hit a roadblock as Chelsea are refusing to hand out more than one-year contracts for players over 30. It is reported that Benfica has placed Luiz on their radar and would the defender to return to Portugal.
