MLS Sounders

Roman Torres and His Future at Seattle Sounders

It’s been several days since the Seattle Sounders season ended and it’s time for a break. In the club’s dispatch decisions will be taken about upcoming additions and departures. A well-known rumor that is spoken among the fans of the team and the Panama National team is the future of Román Torres. Here we tell you what your options can.

Seattle Sounders

According to reliable sources,  the player and his social networks, the Panamanian defender has welcomed and felt very comfortable in his stay in the United States. He looks pretty comfortable with his family. Unfortunately this year he has suffered injuries that have prevented him from having the continuity that any footballer would like to have.

He has seen criticism about his weight among fans but has always shown the opposite when playing. An anecdote that we can remember that famous interview that he did in the World Cup in Russia about his weight, and the player raised his shirt to show his sick pack. Maybe he is just built to play in the NFL, who knows.

Millonarios (Colombia)

Roman Torres had his glory years in this Colombian club. He played for 3 years with the ‘Millos’ where he won the ‘Torneo Clausura’ in 2012. In that club, it was where he made his definitive step to become a benchmark for the Panamanian national team. Roman has never hidden his love for this club.

He has shown his love in social networks always supporting the team when they play their games. Returning to Colombia would not be anything outlandish for the player because as he announced a few months ago the player’s dream is to keep pace to return to take his country to a new World Cup in Qatar.

The Colombian team has changed its coaching staff and it is rumored that the directive would consider bringing the ‘canalero’.

Another option for Roman Torres would be to call at another club in the MLS. Still, no names are spoken but despite his age (32) he still has the level and maturity to play at the highest level of a league like the American one as long as the injuries respect him.

To conclude, we hope that the future of the great star of the Panamanian nation will be resolved quickly in order to continue enjoying his grip and leadership.
