Zinedine Zidane

It’s Done, Zizu Is Back in Real Madrid!

Real Madrid Appointed Third Manager In Less Than 10 Months

After a horrendous performance and unexpected loss in Champions League against Ajax 1 - 4 at Bernabeu, Real Madrid officially announced re-signing of Zinedine Zidane as their new Manager.

Zizu is back in less than 10 months after leaving for Juventus Torino starting his second spell with Los Blancos. In his time in Juventus Zidane was involved in the club's management. His successors Julen Lopetegui (former Spanish National Manager) and Santiago Solari couldn't step into Zizu’s shoes after his departure. Historically speaking Zinedine Zidan was the only the second Real Madrid manager (after Jose Mourinho  2010 -2013) that had the privilege to manage the Real Madrid first team for more than 2 consecutive seasons since the era of legendary Real Madrid manager Vicente del Bosque.

After Ronaldo’s and Zidan’s departure in 2018, Real Madrid’s form was on a constant decline. Julen Lopetegui was not able to bring any prominent players to the team in summer 2018.

Currently sitting on 3rd place in La Liga Table and out of Champions League Real Madrid has their most successful manager of the modern era back. Will he salvage what is left from Los Blancos season?

Who Will Be The Next Galacticos?

Most fans are excited to see what will Zinedine Zidan do with the current team knowing that some of the most prominent Galacticos - Gareth Bale, Vinícius Júnior, Daniel Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez are on the injury list.

After Ronaldo's departure, there was nobody who was able to step in his shoes and lead Real Madrid forward. Zizu must look for the new maestro that will help the team win more trophies in the upcoming transfer season. Will it be PSG’s Neymar Jr. or Mbappe, Liverpool’s Mo Salah, or perhaps Chelsea’s Eden Hazard? Galacticos fans will find out in about 3 months when the 2019 transfer season opens!

Who will be the next Galactico - Hazard, Neymar Jr., Mbappe or Salah
