Toby set to stay
According to Sky Sports News, Spurs favorite Toby Alderweireld extended his contract with the London based club. The 29-year-old was expected to leave in the winter window with Man United tipped as his next club. However, Tottenham activated a year-long extension option. This will keep him at the club until 2020. Spurs will now surely use this time to discuss a long-term contract with the defender. However, if Toby refuses to sign a long-term deal, the defender could leave for £25m in the summer.
PSG show serious interest in Ramsey
Since it was made public that Aaron Ramsey will be leaving the Emirates, many top clubs have been fighting for his signature. The latest club being Paris Saint-Germain. According to Sky Sports, the Welsh midfielder is expected to have a meeting with the club in January. During this time Ramsey will be allowed to talk to foreign clubs. Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Inter Milan have all shown interest in the 27-year-old so far. Hopefully, by the end of January, we will find out his next move.
Palacios move to Madrid finalized?
Exequiel Palacios expected to be a Real Madrid player next week. According to Mundo Deportivo, the River Plate midfielder will be Los Blancos first signing of the winter transfer window. The Argentine is heavily linked with Spanish club for quite a while now. The 20-year-old won the Copa Libertadores at the Santigo Bernabeu and hopefully, he will make more appearances there.
Juventus not letting go of Costa
According to various reports, the new boss at Man United will be gifted a decent transfer budget for the transfer window. The Norweign is said to be interested in Douglas Costa. However, Juventus do not look interested in selling the Brazilian winger. Most of the 28-year-old appearances this season came from the bench but Juventus says he is still an integral part to the Champions League plans. However, Man United is expected to make a bid of €60M to persuade Juventus.
