Manchester City Are Still On Top

With a tough game Monday of this week against Tottenham, City showed they are determined to win the title again. They won the game 1-0, with an early strike in the sixth minute from Riyad Mahrez. The Manchester City team is undefeated thus far, alongside Liverpool the team has 26 points. Each team shares 8 wins, 2 draws, and 0 losses.

Manchester City has a busy remainder of November, with another six games left. These games come in a multitude of different competitions, all of which are important to the overall success of City’s season. In the premier league, they face Southampton, which many would see as an expected win. The game following this is against Manchester United, one of the biggest rivalries in sports, the Manchester derby. This game is a serious one, as it could be another game to set up Manchester City. The game could also destroy United’s chances, as they have had a rough start already this season.

Manchester City has not shown a lack of dominance in the league this year. City went out and bolstered the team where needed, filling an already dominant team with more talent. The additions are showing why they were added, just like Mahrez scoring against Tottenham. The team has been solid on both aspects of the field, outscoring anyone with 27 goals on the season so far. City also has conceded the fewest goals in the premier league, only letting there hit the back fo the net. With a goal difference of 24 only 10 games through the season, they are on track to display the same dominance as they displayed last year.
